2009 Strengthening Connections
The goal of the project was to contribute to the reintegration of children into families and communities through instruments art-therapy aiming at forming of more active position of the children. Art-therapy means were used to promote more self-confidence in children from orphanages and children from vulnerable families who studying in community schools in 3 different regions (Chui, Jalalabad, and Osh) and mobilized their understanding of their potential and ability to claim their rights and equality as members of civil society. Trough weekly master classes and workshops art teachers used different media: painting, sculpture, video, photographу and performance - to develop a sense of confidence in the children about their ability to achieve in the creative sector.
