Nomadic art camp

The Nomadic Art Camp bringing together artists from different countries and providing a unique opportunity to commune over the topics of nature, heritage, culture, diversity, and art. Participants will stay in a traditional Kyrgyz yurt in the mountains near a small village on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul and work with natural materials found in the area. They will become accustomed to the pace of rural village life and the point of view of local people and explore how these ideas can influence their professional practice.

How to Apply:

A completed application consists of:

  • 1. A cover letter detailing your interest in the residency program.
    Please touch upon notions of nature, heritage, culture, diversity,
    and how these relate to your practice
  • 2. A resume or curriculum vitae including professional arts related experience
  • 3. At least five images of past art works or links to past projects
